This mask can be applied 3 times a week and for extremely dry skin, especially during winter, you can apply at night and sleep with it – just remember to wash it off the next morning.
Special Precaution:
The Serra Restore may have a slight tingling sensation when you first apply it due to the restoration of the lipid bilayer, it MAY also cause fine breakouts when you use the product for the first time, as the product causes water to be trapped in the skin to prevent dehydration – which is what we want.
So, your skin may go through a transitional phase, where the skin’s condition may decline before it reaches its recovery phase as it’s working from the deeper layers and allow everything to surface to enable optimal results. No stress if this happens to you, continue using the product, it will clear up within a few days.
